A beautiful, high-welfare Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben hen from established breeding lines. Known for their striking “polka dot” plumage and distinctive forward-pointing crests, these hens are active, hardy, and excellent foragers, making them a perfect addition to a rural smallholding or garden flock.
You can expect approximately 150 to 180 medium-sized eggs per year. While laying is most prolific during the spring and summer breeding season, these hens are known for being hardy and often continue to lay well into the cooler months.
Collection: You will be contacted via email when your hen is ready for collection.
Delivery: We offer a bespoke delivery service for livestock within a 30-mile radius of WS15 3JD. To request delivery, please contact us after placing your order. A delivery fee will apply based on mileage and the number of birds being transported.
