How many eggs do silver spangled Appenzeller hens lay each year?

150 to 180 eggs per year.

While they aren’t “production” birds like a Leghorn or a Rhode Island Red, they are consistent layers of small-to-medium white eggs.

Do you sell hatching eggs?

Nearly all eggs from our breeding stock go straight into the incubator however, from time to time we do have hatching eggs available. They can be purchased here on our online shop.

We specialise in silver spangled Appenzeller spitzhauben chickens and are dedicated to preserving this wonderful breed. Our friends at Chartley Chucks sell lots of different hybrid and pure breed chickens.
